About Carncot Private School Trust

To provide a quality private education, Carncot must remain a financially independent school. Our long term financial independence is significantly increased by the kind philanthropic support of our community – past and present parents, former students and their families, and many others who appreciate the value of a Carncot education.

Carncot Private School Trust (hereafter referred to as Carncot Trust) is our vehicle in providing financial security for the future.

Our goal is to create a substantial financial base to ensure the independence of Carncot.

Together we can build on the generosity of the preceding generations who have gifted us this great school. To do this we need your help.

Here are five ways you can contribute:

Membership - become a member of the Carncot Trust by making a general donation. Your donation is your support.

Patronage - give patronage to an area of school life that you are most passionate about. Use your skills, time and/or donations to be a patron and drive that area of key interest.

Sponsorship - businesses can support an area of interest by sponsoring their own specialist project or supplying extra business services in-kind.

Gifting - establish a legacy by giving a significant gift, as a one-off or annually.

Bequests - give a significant gift from your will or in a bequest, to safeguard your lifetime legacy.

By supporting the Carncot Trust, members of the school community can provide a long-term legacy to help preserve and maintain Carncot’s position as a premier independent school in New Zealand.

All donations to Carncot are processed through The Carncot Trust. New tax changes mean that you can now make a donation of any amount to the Trust, up to the level of your taxable income, and receive a rebate from the IRD of 33.3 cents for every dollar donated. Companies and Incorporated Societies can offset donations against income tax paid.
