Student Visa Requirements

A student visa is required prior to commencing at Carncot and this can be applied for once a place has been offered, and the fee is paid.  This can be done either in your country, or once you are in New Zealand. New Zealand Immigration requirements state that students in Years 1-6 are to be accompanied by either a parent, or a legal guardian. Year 7 and 8 students, who are not living with a parent, must be with a caregiver designated by their parents.  To enrol for one term and provided the stay in New Zealand is 3 months or less, then a visitor's visa can be obtained.
