The social environment helps create a culture with few distractions and disciplinary issues so the learning time is maximised. Cultural diversity is fostered and international students are very much part of our school family.
The physical environment also provides a great backdrop for learning. Our school buildings range from the beautiful historic homestead steeped in rich tradition, to the bold and functional modern classrooms. The school grounds are well-kept and the girls take pride in maintaining the attractiveness of the school.

“Students experience a selection of leadership challenges and responsibilities. A well-established buddy system promotes an inclusive school community. Peer mediators and house captains are positive role models for girls. Trustees and staff emphasise tradition and values. An holistic approach is taken to develop each girl’s potential and to encourage qualities of respect, caring, confidence, loyalty and pride. Students demonstrate very high levels of self discipline, motivation and self esteem. Success and endeavours are regularly celebrated through classroom reward systems, assemblies and newsletters.” ERO Report 2008
